Eric Douglas
American actor and comedian (1958–2004)
Eric Douglas was an American actor and comedian, born in 1958 to a prominent Hollywood family. As the youngest son of renowned actor Kirk Douglas and his second wife Anne Buydens, Eric was exposed to the entertainment industry from a young age. His family ties also included a half-brother, Michael Douglas, who would go on to achieve great success as an actor and producer.
Despite his connections to the film industry, Eric Douglas's own career in show business was marked by struggles and challenges. He pursued work as an actor and stand-up comedian, but ultimately did not achieve the same level of recognition as his father and siblings. His personal life was also marred by difficulties, including multiple encounters with law enforcement and ongoing issues with substance abuse. Eric Douglas passed away in 2004, at the age of 46.
