Brit HaHayal
Jewish unit in the Polish Army
Brit HaHayal was a Jewish unit within the Polish Army, established in December 1932 in Radom. This organization was founded as a Revisionist Zionist association, comprising Jewish reservists who shared a common goal. The formation of Brit HaHayal marked the beginning of a collective effort among Jewish individuals in the Polish Army to promote a specific ideological agenda.
As the organization expanded, its first branch was set up in Warsaw in February 1933. The primary objective of Brit HaHayal was to participate in the struggle for the reconstruction of a Jewish state, with a specific geographic focus on the area on both sides of the Jordan River. Through its activities, Brit HaHayal aimed to contribute to the broader movement of Jewish activism, driven by the ideals of Revisionist Zionism.
